Nurse Practitioner
Our Clinic is proud to have four Nurse Practitioners (NPs) contributing to the growth of our GMF. We have seen a great benefit to patient care since the integration of our Nurse Practitioners. Nurse Practitioners assume responsibility for tasks related to physical assessment, provision of clinical impressions, treatment for short-term acute illness, monitoring patients with stable chronic conditions, order testing and organize referrals. Nursing Services
Our clinic has five nurse clinicians participating in the care of our patients. Doctors work in collaboration with our nursing team to offer services covering a variety of health problems such as diabetes, hypertension and cholesterol. Nurses also offer counseling and teaching for sexually transmitted infections, contraception and child development (0-5 years old).

Mental Health
In any given year, one in five people in Canada will experience a mental health problem or illness. Our registered patients benefit from our mental health team consisting of social workers and psychologists that work alongside their family physician.
